my 95 Univega rebuild/retro mod

Dirt Disciple
I feel a little inadequate posting this with all of the amazing bikes that are showing up on this forum, but it's my first retro build and I'm pretty happy with the result. It's built with parts I accumulated over the last couple years. Most of it is NOS parts, and I only have about $600 into it. I plan on using it for some commuting and light touring.

1995 Univega Alpina 606s frame, tange double butted tubing
Tange rigid fork
Cane creek headset
IRD stem
syncros bars
XT 750 derailleurs
XT 752 cranks with middleburn ceramic rings
Cheapo seatpost (only 26.0 post I could find)
White Industries rear hub
Tioga front hub
Mavic F519 rims
Shimano XT/Saint shifter
XT V's with Cane Creek levers
XT Cassette
Selle Italia XO saddle (may be on it's way out already)
Yokozuna reaction cables (these are awesome, I highly recommend them)
Pics were taking before I pulled my spd's off another bike

Thanks guys. I cant find anything similar to the original decals. I picked up some generic silver univega decals on ebay but im not sure if i want to apply them. I kinda like the clean white look.

nice bike looks good in white. i am in the process of building a alpine 802 frame, i hope mine looks as nice as yours.
Regards
tony
