I just bought my first mountain bike. I wanted something I can work on and improve to make my own, before I spend big money. I purchased a 2001 Mt Tam. Everything is great on it expect the front fork. I have had a hard time trying to find out if I should replacement it or rebuilding. The fork does not hold air and I’m guessing it hasn’t been service in a long time either.
The fork is question is a Marzocchi bomber z2 atom 80mm.
If anyone has suggestions on good replacements or parts to fix it that would be great.
