My 1996 Santa Cruz Tazmon

The Tazmon was manufactured by Santa Cruz Bicycles from 1994 to 1998, their first mass produced MTB frame. It was discontinued in 1998 due to its high manufacturing costs.

This is my Santa Cruz Tazmon which I purchased in California in 1996. The componentry spec has changed through the years, but it's been in its current state for the majority of the time. The ride is still awesome!

Frame material: 6061 T6 aluminum, double-butted, TIG-welded.
Colour: Metallic Green Powder Coat

Frame Travel: 3" / 70mm
Rear Shock: Risse Terminator

Thanks kanerdog1! Yes, she and. I do go a long way back and the rides we did are all so memorable. She's still going strong and will certainly outlive me! One of my friends back in California still has his as well!

Your Taz is pretty nice too. Extra cool that it was featured in a magazine!
