My 1996 Orange C16-R

I've been lurking here for a while and thought I'd say hello. I've had this bike from new and still enjoy riding it.

Over the last couple of weeks its had a spring clean. Also new chain, cassette, brakes, STI and cables.

Bit unsure about the v-brake cabling but it seems to look ok. I guess I need to loose the brake hanger from the headset ... where can I get a spacer to replace it?

Welcome :D

Very tidy indeed  Love that colour very understated :D

You can use a 1" ahead spacer to replace the canti hanger ;)

Yeah any bike shop will be able to sell you a space 1" of course.

The V brake cabling.... I would be tempted to shorten the front a bit to get the noddle more upright and personally I'd try the rear the other side of the seat tube.

Hi – lovely classy looking Orange there – always liked this particular colour scheme from '97. May be fit a 90 degree noodle to the rear with cable routed around the left of seat post and rotate the front noodle upright.
