My 1991 Gt Avalanche

Got some Ritchey Megabite tyres in the post today...
Though as stated before I would have preferred amber/tan/skin walled MegaBites, these black ones look fine too.
Maybe one day I might be lucky to find them.

Looking good,

I've had a couple of pairs of Amber wall Megabites that were on bikes when I got them to restore, 1 pair I binned, as they were totally finished. I've kept the other pair, but they are not really ridable.

Whilst the weather is fairly decent, as in little to no rain, I find myself grabbing either my Bravado or my Avalanche to commute to work and the workshop where I volunteer on a regular basis and I just can't help feeling very happy. I consider myself very fortunate to have these two bikes, as they're both special in different ways. My other GT's have a story to tell too and I won't be dismissing that, as without those I wouldn't be where I am now. I am however already thinking about what will be my next project, though. I have ideas and plenty of spare parts.....

I do actually have a pair too, that came on my Ritchey. The sidewall is gone on one, but the other seems alright. I keep meaning to offer it up karma to a good home if a single one helps.
