Hi all. The new owner has uncovered the serial number on my old Orange Clockwork that shares more similarities with Muddy Fox than Orange along with a different style serial number 9D59214. Does that mean anything in MF language?

Not that I'm aware of. There were several formats used for Muddy Fox frames-
Early 80s, were Araya with format such as 'A4A0266'
Late 80s frames were still manufactured by Araya but the frame numbers started 'ARY'
I've seen a mid 90s frame with number starting FC94 on here...
Finally 'P' and 'PH' frames which are Pacific manufactured....
