muddy fox roadrunner

A minor classic. Remember when these came out and loved the colours then. Still quite unique and pretty rare now.
I saw the even rarer female version the other day chained up outside a school. Still going strong.

If I could find one in a non-stupid frame size I could actually ride I might get one or an 88 Courier/Explorer.

Carl.

Muddy fox sizing back in the day seemed to be large, extra large then Frank Bruno. Those big bikes probably put a lot of people off mountain bikes. Ok for me though.
Cheers,
Frank

But that's the retro way....as a teen, I remember hooning downhill as fast as possible on a bike at least 6 inches too big (bought for me to "grow into!")... I couldn't reach the pedals properly, just about managed to reach the bars but made sure as hell I didn't crash as there was thought of a nice swan neck quill stem up front to ruin my chance of reproducing in later life....

That's how you learn how to handle a bike - kids have it easy these days with their correctly fitted bikes, suspension and whatnot....
