Don't know if it's the Tange Ultimate Ultralight frameset that they used for early iterations of this Monarch line, but if it is then it's a great frame, stupidly light and with exceptional ride quality. Some MF fans will turn their noses up because it came out after the fall, but the Monarchs of 93-94 were based upon designs left behind by the original Muddy Fox team, arguably the last great bikes to come out bearing the muddy paw print.

This looks like a very tidy and well maintained example.

Don't think it was a Tange frame by then- I could be wrong- still a nice example of a nice bike though:)
That stem and those bar-ends are a blast from the past:D
 
Nice buy Ben, if I had the space you may have had some competition for it Have you picked it up yet? If so how is it close up?
