The pink stuff. Is it safe to use on older paint? Was also planning to use it as chain cleaner after a spot of white spirit.

Anyone out there use it?

Good to go as long as you don't leave it on for too long. Kind of 'white spots' stuff if you leave it for a bit but that's mainly on alu components.

Saying that I've used little else for years. It is good stuff

Don't touch it anymore....Fenwicks Concentrate for me.....dilute for general cleaning, less diluted for degreasing, cheaper than MuckOff and smells nicer too! And its better :D

This ^^^^

Muc Off is quite aggressive on parts, especially ano stuff. Fenwicks is much kinder to the bike & it's parts

Fenwicks FS1 concentrated degreaser is ~£10 a litre, makes up to 11 litres of bikewash which costs ~90p a litre. Superb value!

Great as a degreaser too, probably the best bikewash/degreaser there is.

90 p /litre is better than diesel at £1.25/litre.

Any views on Hopes Sh1t shifter ?

Fenwicks is pretty good and defo smells better than mucoff....

I've recently made the change to Kaaboom which is made by autoglym and distributed by Fisher outdoor leisure. available in concentrate and pre diluted and has no environmental impact (afaik).

+1 for Fenwicks

I water my Muc Off down and use it is a spray bottle.

60% water - 40% Muc Off.

No problems so far.
