Looking for a nice frame to build a first 'big' bike for my son.

Cosmetic condition not a priority as we can refinish the frame if needs be. But needs to be straight / threads good etc.

Budget up to £100. but will consider more for something special.

Cheers!

Thanks for the response folks. A few interesting/kind/lovely options appearing in my inbox.. (More welcome of course.).

Top forum this!

Re:

Specialized Hardrock in 13 inch, for 26 wheels steel frame, paint not bad, could be touched in or repainted.

Re:

2000 my Specialized Rockhopper Comp in Blue/Silver. Nominally 15" but centre of bb to centre of top tube is more like 13.5"-14". Paint a bit tired, small dent in top tube but my son has been riding it like this for 2 years and it really doesn't affect the ride at all. Seat post and clamp included. Nice and light too. £35 posted. Have the original Manitou Magnum R's, paint and decals tired, need v brake posts if you run v Brakes, but no oil leaks spring and mcu all good. £20 posted. OR also have a pair of RST Delta Comps in good condition in yellowy orange for £30 posted.

Have some other bits too...brake levers, bars, stem...

Any good? :D
