Mtb frame number

I'm trying to find the brand of my old mtb frame. The mtb has a nelson logo on the frame, which appears to be from dave nelson of llangyndir. I recently spoke to the guy who has acquired the business and he wasn't sure it was a nelson frame and he didn't have any information on this frame. So here goes this is a shot in the dark with frame number andI hope someone can help out there.

Fairly certain that this is a Ballistic X-Ocet ... Frame number suggests it is 1998 built.
Most often seen in blue in the UK. Where are you based?
