its on an mtb . pivot on the rear of an rts . been replaced with a campag road bike bolt . thats why im here ;)
Rear mech pivot? Rear suspension pivot?

like he sez, pictures will help .... or better explanation.

the only long campag chainring bolt I can think of is the one on chorus & record chainsets where the ring fastens to the inside of the crank arm. That bolt is longer than the other 4

Re:

pictures dont really matter . all i need to know is do road chainring bolts come in longer lengths than the longest mtb which is 16mm .
what i need is a 20mm chainring bolt . so do campagnolo do a longer one .

Why not try and find out what the correct part should be and maybe avoid re bodging a bodge

Re:

the correct part is just a long chainring bolt . just that the replaced one has campag stamped on it and i would like to have them both the same . either campag or plain , no biggie

Re:

ok guys heres the pic .......

bolt on left original ...

bolt in middle campag stamped

red bolt normal 15mm long chainring bolt (too short)
