bought this from tim (chopper 602)
when it arrived it was looking a bit sorry for its self but on further inspection and cleaning it turns out to be a really nice bike
bonuses were a near mint rolls saddle ,with paint splash on it that i'm slowly polishing off ,some i think svelte q/r's , the oe stem and a nice set of wheels
and smokes with little wear al in very pleased with it ,cheers tim

thought i'd show it next the comp XT that i already had

for some reason the pro comp has a double butter tange tubing decal
and the comp has triple butted decal ,dunno if this is a mistake or
not theres a few other differences the rear brake cable hanger being the most obvious
i've developed a real liking for these nice bikes to ride too

Just found this thread - glad you're pleased with the bike - wish I'd kept that saddle now! My new 'Rockhopper' came with a white leather pain inducer !

Hence me starting with"I know this is a really old thread..."

Am I right in thinking you owned the comp xt beforehand? I'm looking to buy one and wondered if anyone has one lurking in a dark corner somewhere
