MS RACING pro comp XT. *prize*

I have just retrieved my Procomp XT from family after 6-7 yrs and it needs a bit of TLC (pretty much as yours). I bought it in '93 from someone who used it fairly seriously then 'retired' it to me. You are looking to do yours up and mentioned crank bearings? Any idea where you would go to get 'spares' for an old timer like this?

Has Deore Xt Biopace 48, and onza buzzsaw 36, 26, serviceable but fairly worn, and FC MT60 crank, and original, (I think) Mavic wheels (which appear fine)

Clearing out the garage of junk frames and turned out an MS Racing Pro Comp XT. Same colours as the main one in this thread. Shifts, brakes, derailleurs are all Deore XT, which judging by some of the other posts, makes this a little rare as most seem to have LX or other classes. I've now put it into the project corner.

There was another very good thread on here with history of MS Racing. Does anyone know how many bikes they made in their single production year, 1989, before becoming Alpinestars?
