I will be using a couple of moderns but then I am trying to achieve something other than s**ting myself about how rubbish the V brakes are on my last minute build retro (aka Last year's Kona hahanna built from recycled kids bikes and plastic tyres)

Although knowing me if I can fit 3 bikes in the car (who needs a tent anyway) I may well build a retro for a 'fun lap'.

On another note. Finances are looking a little better - if I can stop myself from buying more bikes :facepalm: - so hoping to get entered in the next few days. :D

V brakes... i've only got cantys!! :facepalm:

Well I suppose I could wait just for you ;)

Cheshire the v brakes were taken from a kids halfords special bike and it was built 2 days before the race. The cantis on my old raleigh mustang were 10x better. :LOL:
