I'm looking forward to drinking my body weight (it's a lot) in beer, eating enough meat to have me sweating like a hog and heckling all the faster riders (which is everyone aside from THM). Sorry Dirk.

on which note, who was the fine individual who brought the keg last time out?

Yeah I forgot about that, it was a craft beer and made in a micro brewery he worked at, or owned...
Proper nice even for a lager drinker like me if I may say so!

Just out of interest who was it ?

Iv'e been asked by Hot Chilli can he bag the 10th place on the Very relaxed 10 man team please :D

Sure thing :D By the tone of the conversation above it will be a very relaxed 10 man probably with a hang over from Friday night thrown in for a fair few of them....

Just hope the rescue remidy of bacon sarnies and buckets of tea perks them up by noon :D

I’ll amend the spreadsheet tomorrow and also includes those who’ve paid in the past 24hrs.

Spud

Cheer's Nick, Chris/hot chilli is very relaxed at the minute so much so i think he's probably been on his bike about 3 time's this year

Hi Nick.. would you chuck me down as first reserve.. obviously all teams are full currently. Happy to ride in any team. Will come along regardless to this great event, with some citrus fruit!

Was Spencer who provided the beer, well Church End Brewery where he worked (?). There were a couple of RetroBike road rides that started from the Brewery - http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... p;t=255647

Also think they also sponsored the last formal annual series rides, hence a barrel turning up for a post ride swift half.

That was back in them olden days...

Jesus thats a blast from the past....

We’ve moved on since Spencer abondoned us for the single speed 29 ers (although Carl has recently bought his Granite work top looking bike off him)

This was defiantly last year - 2016 are we all so ungrateful that we drank his beer and yet can’t remember who brought it.... or did the 5.1vol induce amnesia

Will update the list tonight as I’m behind at the moment what with kids and bank holidays

Callum, Player did get in a few hours before with Hot Chilli however with so many names and the event being so far away we’ll have one or two drop out
However it would also be great if we could muster a third team

And 100% bring some citrus goodness with you !

Instead of being a fluffer on one of the full teams, why not be the Captain of a new team, there's loads of time yet to fill one up.
Such a shame you had to dash last minute last year, was looking forward to meeting you and the 'fruit bowl' of bikes.

Happy to fill another team or be a reserve, pretty easy going, happy to ride little or lots! :)

Yes will bring a blend of citrus fruit, the Formula, Alu O 92 and 92 Ckockie... need room for beer in the car! So no more!!!
Yes it will be great to meet everyone finally, and a great excuse to give the bikes a hammering!
