Here's some pjotos of the build up to the race. Sorry I didn't get any of it, I was kind of busy racing/recovering from/preparing to!
Feeling a bit gutted now that I didn't do a double lap at the end, when my team mates weren't capable of/wanting to finish the 24 hours, but at the time I didn't feel like I had it in me.

Clive was by far the face of Camp Retrobike, with the stunning Specialized top and looking cooler than penguins’ pee in his shades!
Longun and Stuie doing a great job everywhere of showing off the Retrobike/@retromtbofficial jerseys, even making it to the Singletrack Mag Facebook video!
As for the Retrobike jerseys, I’m so proud to have made that idea come to life and thank again to everyone who had a hand in their design. They really do stand out in the photos!

That poor old bloke genuinely looked like a grannie - even sober I put my foot in it, let’s just agree with a lid on and clean shaven he was an OAP pretty boy - I was genuinely mortified at my gaff when put right
And for those who don’t get the joke - just to haunt me his picture on pg 8 of the official Mayhem photo album is just below mine - so even now there is no escape from my sense of guilt
