Mountain mayhem 2019 aftermath thread

First Mayhem also.

Nearly didnt go due to injury but lots of meds and i made it. By Friday night i had forgotten about it all and made the mistake of having a few beers  The previous night mixed with a long HOT day Saturday, led to a gruelling lap in the heat

Like My Teenage Self (sorry mate, forgotten your name already  ) said, if you have'nt been and have thought about going, you definatly should. A really friendly atmosphere, no pressures, very relaxed weekend. Relaxed is a reference to the racing side of the weekend as its also pretty full on regarding the party side

Met some interesting people and some members that i have never even seen on the forum, so many people there all passionate about retro bikes and all friendly. Great music, great food and great company.

Loved it, thank you :D

a mention should go out to Clive, Nick and Gerard who were relentless in the trackside entertainment for the riders and members alike, really made RB a part of Mayhem 8)

Fantastic guys!

I've enjoyed living the experience vicariously through your messages, photos and the occasional video, even from the official MM feeds on Instagram and Facebook.

Super peed off I couldn't go. Everyone with the RB jersey looked fab and instantly recognisable in photos.

Can't wait to see all your photos coming through.

Re:

Fantastic weekend. The best so far. Well done all. LGF thanks for the music...perfect. Andy thanks for the entertainment and food...hearing the History Man eulogies about his steak at 1am will take some forgetting. Nick, Clive....what can I say...apart from May Nick, it would be appropriate to call you "little rocket man" .
I will get photos up as soon as - can...lots to got through.
And to those who were newbies, thanks for making the effort and joining in in and making it the event it was.

All the above and two photos...Friday night sunset, Friday night round the fire. The first because...well, the weather, the second because it answers the Mint Sauce question...This is why!

Where am I? Oh yes, in a field, by a washing machine drum, listening to middle aged men ‘bus stop shouting’ at passing cyclists while being fed a perfectly cooked steak, Merlot and Malbec (thank you Gerard) staggering off to bed at 3.30 am only to be woken by the LGF radio one roadshow at 7.

Oh and the company was excellent, old and new.

Thanks to all for a great weekend. Next time I’ll tighten the cranks!
