today has been a mission!

woke up after a nightshift at midday knowing i had to sort everything for mayhem! got a haircut for aerodynamic reasons, then went costume shopping! then got some energy stuff for the race, bearing in mind i have to work a day shift tomorrow at 5am and then leaving straight from work i have between now and bedtime to sort several bikes (not just for mayhem as i'm hitting wales after) sort my camping stuff, sort and load the van, aswel as wash one of the bikes.

i also want to get a ride in!

hmm . . . ride first then late night sorting i think is the way forward!!

I aim to arrive ~11am in the car; my parents are also coming as my solo support / for the craic, they have a bloody huge white Volkswagen LT35 van, which we’ll try and get trackside with the awning for quick pit stops.

I'll be dropping in at some point in the day, to find out where base camp is for my many travelling team mates.

I'll be back with the boy in tow... well in his own car, Saturday morning, as I'm only an hours drive away.

Really peeved that I can't make it this year, family commitments getting in the way. Will make a big effort to get to MM next year. Haven't missed many over the years even going back to 1998. May even bring a bike!
