In 1989 was XT M732 for Brakes, Levers, Thumbies, Rear and Front Derailleurs and Rear Hub/Cassette, all other XT was M730.

Phil,

Are you sure of the origins of the frame? The finish is a Dupont Alesta Gold Vein polyester powder coat that was not available at the time of the frames date code.

I'd be curious to hear the story on this one.

Salut Rody, I think it's a original.
The frame comes from the general German importeur for Goat in the 90.
He 's got only two frames from Golden Goat
I find that description by Monbat:
"The Golden Goat comes only in a "Copper Vein" powder paint finish, so no paint options are available for the Golden Goat"
