Mountain Cycle MOHO STS Softtail - Medium.
Bike is not an original build. Was rebuilt with near new kit, some
NOS.
I bought this bike on my honeymoon in Vancouver a few years ago. I'm
not sure which exact year this is from, mid to late 90s. Not a disk
brake model, so it is around 1996 or so.
Size Medium. Frame number is 12378M. Frame is used, some scratches, some touch up jobs, but paint is
mostly original and good. No cracks or dents.
Forks are late RockShox Judys, practically new. Rubber gators are
soft, plush action, unmarked stanchions. Shock Bone Carbon brace.
Cranks are Red Anodized Race Face Forged units, with dust caps.
44T Black Spire Alloy
32T Shimano Steel
22T Sugino Steel
Purple Chainring bolts
Wheels are not a matching set. Front Hub XT M738 Parralex 110, laced to Sun Rims CR17A.
Rear is XT M737 laced to a Double Wide ALEX AL-DM24. 12-30 8 Speed Hyperglide-C Cassette.
Both wheels straight and true. Hubs in excellent condition.
XT Brake levers and V-Brakes - M739
Rear Mech is XT M739
Front Mech is XT M737
Azonic Risers, Titec Stem, Race Face Grips, Velo Orange headset.
Saddle is a THE, with a more modern FSA seatpost.
I have ridden this bike only a few times - we have a Christmas spin which I used it for once. Have ridden this a few miles on the road.It rides so well I'm reluctant to see it go. It's my
fanciest retro. Whilst it would be a great bike to take on spins all
the time, it would be a shame to as it is such a fine example.
Please note, neither the pedals nor the Wild Grippers are not included in the sale.
I live in Dublin, Ireland. Collection would be great, but I'll post to anywhere.
I'm also willing to sell the Frame (including headset and BB) on its own if there's not interest in the full bike.
