I have just bought a Moser Leader Evolution and I wanted to see if anyone knew what tubing it could be.
Unlike my other Moser (Leader AX) there is no sticker to indicate however there is a 1996 Olympics badge at the top of the seat tube so I guess the frame is therefore 1996+.
The timeline would indicate Deda Zero however upon examination all of the tube shapes are exactly like my 1992 Moser Leader AX which is Oria Cromovan. The weight of the frame and forks are 1953 and 658 grams respectively. The frame seems a bit heavy for Deda Zero although the fork is pretty light I guess. The frame is fillet brazed.
The frame measures 54 cm top and seat tube with a 13 cm head tube.
Any ideas? One possibility perhaps is that maybe it is a mixture of the two (Deda Zero and Oria Cromovan) as it is a bit weird that the paint and decals are all in good shape but the frame material sticker is missing..? I've contacted F Moser but didn't get a response.
