Reluctant sale, but I am on a one in one out rule and this has to go!
A design classic with it's silver fillet braze, this is a 92 AX Leader with full 7700 group set. Unfortunately there are a few chips, with the worst having being touched up by me with nail varnish just above the gear boss on the down tube as you can see in the pics. If I was holding on to it I would get it professionally done.
Frame is 55 x 55, rare colour scheme (one currently on Ebay at over £700 just for F&F)
Wheels are something to behold, no brake rub and wicked aero spokes. The tension in the spokes is uneven, so I think they could do with a visit to a wheel builder to get them evened out. Classic Rolls saddle, brand new 8 speed cassette and tires, Excel tubing and chrome forks with minimal marking.
It's not a lightweight by todays standards (don't expect 753 weights), but this is a rare bike in such good condition. No brake run as mentioned, brake pads fine, and no wear on the drivetrain. I would say it's done less than 1000 miles it's that good.
Looking for £675, located Notts / Leics border if anyone wants to view. Willing to package up if you want to arrange courier collection.
