It would probably look a lot cooler if it weren't a 22" frame with only 3" of seatpost showing. In any event, $1800 is a really good deal for Moots, especially one with a Moots seatpost, CK headset etc.
I almost got one of these new, it was a toss up between a Boulder Starship and the Moots (although I thought it had a different name). The Moots has the advantage over the Boulder in that you can fit different shocks, but the placement of the shock would mean it would be venerable to crap coming off the rear wheel every ride. In the end price also played a big part and the Boulder was a bit cheaper.

That's just a really odd way of doing it.
If they'd mounted the shock and linage on ANY of the (many) other tubes, I'm sure it would have worked so much better.
If that linkage moves UP when compressed, it wouldn't encourage you to hang off the back of the saddle on a rough descent :shock:
