Thanks for all the nice comments, it's the famous 'toblerone-top-tube' and indeed it seems the pro and team issue is fairly rare these days... I used to have another pro from '93 in metallic red and black... converted to single speed, got stolen, still miss it!

good question... I have no clue regarding the length, it's a 68mm Deore cartridge bracket. Your frame is in the 1992 catalogue too, I will scan and upload it for your reference.
