Ade, I've been building up a nice Fat Chance Shock a Billy which is pretty much the same bike. Your going to enjoy it! I have had it out on two long muddy rides now and couldn't stop smiling 
Mine runs canti's front and back and has the rear brace, brakes work with no discernible flex although I do have Judy's on the front not AMP ones.
