I've just seen these stunning polished M765 hubs on Velo Solo's website:

How cool are they?!?!? Unfortunately they're currently unavailable

Apparently they acid-dip them, though I've heard using Mr Muscle oven cleaner or caustic soda works well too. A bit of a faff polishing them back up though....

I've always hated the 756 groupo ,it was just so bland looking :x
But ,polished ,it looks a thousand times better
