They both pass the push test, but other than that I've no idea.

Are there any serial numbers on either fork? Would likely help a lot in identifying the exact forks.

Also could you measure the steerer length too as if they've been cut to a certain frame it will limit the bikes they can be attached too.

Possibly interested in the Fox forks myself but no idea if they are suitable for my bike from the picture.

Bit of a minefield all the different Fox forks - There will be a 4 digit code and serial number at the bottom of the steerer though which should tell you what they are. Type that code and serial in here: https://www.ridefox.com/fox17/help.php?m=bike

The Rock Shox are Lyrik u-turns, will be for 26". Nice forks in their day.

Yes the lyriks (is that what it says!) are a 1.5" steerer by the look of it - not tapered. The fox has a tapered steerer. I'll get lengths and check serial numbers in the morning and post my findings. Are these the generation of modern forks that you can easily swap the steerer tube?

Fox look like 2012/14 era I think? Talas were the adjustable travel version.
