Modern and Stupid BB Question

A question ref modern kit; I'm building a retro mod and I've found a donor bake that has a nice 11sp Chorus ultra torque groupset. Anyhow, the frame has a press fit BB (Bb91?) and I need to switch the groupset over to hang off a frame that has a std BSA BB. So my question, I know that I need to purchase some external Campag BB cups like these: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobi ... lsrc=aw.ds
but do I also need a bearing kit like this: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobi ... cat=direct
or do the current ones in the press fit BB work? Please excuse my ignorance!

Yes, you need both the items you posted links to

Campag sell the cups and bearings separate unlike any other bb manufacturers that I know of that use sealed bearings

A press fit bb won't work in a threaded shell and vice versa

Judging by my UT chainset you don't need bearings unless they are knackered. The bearings are an interference fit on the axles so you only need the cups.

Mark.

Ah, that was what I was thinking but wasn't sure where the bearings were specifically nestled - if I dismantled the chainset it would have been obvious  Thanks!

Campag aren't being contrary, it's a better system.

With the bearings fitted to the cranks, it is the (cheap) cups that wear.
