Hi all
This is a 1977 MKM Dominator, sitting here today pretty much exactly as it left the workstand 30-odd years ago. Originally built up by a bike store owner for his own use, he sold it to the man I bought it from in 1984 or thereabouts. 25 years on, here it is!
Regarding the component list below, I don't really know my vintage parts and so any corrections or filling-ins (or good links to add!) would be appreciated!
I'm a bit concerned about the rust (?) on the chrome of the fork, I'm keen to swap the rims for clincher rims (but whether to stay retro or to go modern?), and the age and purported lightness of the bars is a worry - but perhaps these issues need separate threads to resolve.
Apologies for the rough and ready photos - I'll swap them for better as / if I manage to take them. Click the thumbnails to make (far too) big. The one of the 531 sticker (the first picture) makes a nice desktop background imo...
