Mistral Bikes... Who?

I wonder if anyone here can help me?

I've been looking for an old school shopping bike for the missus and I've come across an old and in great condition 'Mistral' shopper.

Only problem is i cant find ANY information on the Mistral make. Only that they used to make rims?!

Can anyone here shed any further light on the make?

I know Mistral bikes well but not quite sure if this is same thing. Mistral was a name of bike made in Poland in early/mid 80's. Decent lugged frame. Some amount of this bikes were exported to western Europe. However I don't remember women's version of that model. Does it have Romet name anywhere? It was a brand which made Mistral model. But then again it could be sold under another brand name as Romet usually did.

I've asked the seller for more info, but got nothing yet.

Looking at the first picture and other Mistral Romets it seems that the 'Mistral' badge is greatly different.. Hmmm!

The Falcon brand? You mean made by Mistral and distributed by Falcon in the UK?

no, made by Falcon. Theres also Puch who made a Mistral model.
