Should I kick myself ?
Thought about these for the Zaskar, £3.97 plus tenner postage
for a very tidy looking pair of forks.

I was dubious cos I thought they had a 1" steerer.

Someone got a bargain.

not a crazy bargain, they have no boots which they need, and if they need a service they need new elastomers or a spring conversion, none of which are cheap, the lowers do look in good condition though

Not sure what i'm going to do with them but hey, 4 sheets for a pair of forks is pretty good!

Await delivery, so not sure of condition yet (and yes, they do need the boots). Maybe they're shot, who knows?!! the description wasn't too in depth....

i've got a scott vantage from '95 which is yellow, they'll probably go on that if steerer fits and colour match is okay.

If not they'll go in the parts bin.

I own same forks, they will need boots unless you're planning ride in a dry and dust/mud free conditions. Apart that they looks decent.

HI YA WRECKER, wasnt knocking you, its one of them take a punt and you could be lucky type things and cant grumble at the price neither, the facts hes removed the boots may mean they have already been converted which would be nice. Ialso have one nos elastomer if you are interested, you might be able to cobble one together from the two that are there along with my new one, not sure how it would compress though, but may be functional and work well.

I also have some fork boots from some later rock shox might do the trick also, let me know if you are interested
