very nice!

Problem with mine is that I can't seem to get the old rings off!
They are stuck as hell, even hammered the S@#$ out of them but no movement....

Two sets of Caramba cranks I owned had some sort of thread locking compound on them. Took a lot of steady pressure in a vice to get them to move.

Hmmm, can I dib these? I need to check whether the caramba cranks I have will take these or not. They aren't double barrels but sidewinders. Unless you happen to know??

Hey they will definitely fit sidewinders as I have another set with them on. I've checked and the screw thread is the same on the sidewinders and double barrels :D

As they fit ill take them then. Do you know much about the sidewinder cranks as ice never been able to find much out myself. What kind of quality/component level were they bitd?

Great. The rings are yours. You won't be disappointed, they look awesome.

The sidewinders are nice light cranks. Not as stiff as the double barrels but the double barrels don't suit every ride as they can look a bit fat. The side winders are not overly flexy either for something that light. The double barrels had an off centre crank arm that supposedly got rid of the dead spot at the top of the pedal stroke like egg rings. The sidewinders were a more conventional design priced similarly I believe...

Bottom bracket wise on my STS I'm using a 116mm without any clearance issues. I stripped the ano off both sets of mine (had to as they had mismatched colours) and they polished up to a mirror finish.
