Mint Ti M-Trax with interesting comments

How old do you reckon it really is? Maybe the aheadstem, STX-RC cranks etc aren't original, but he doesn't sound like an upgrading owner. More like 15 years old than 20?

This is what got me:

"i have had it valued by a local bike builder/ european cycling champion who valued it at between £500-£700 and climbing. "

Yep that's a 94/95 bike. I had the Ti 1000, I'd say apart from the seat, bars and stem it's original. Nice riding frames, although I've heard tales of them falling apart....mines still in service but not in my possession at the moment.

I thought that they'd changed to the bolted-up tops to the seat stays by mid-90s? And those look all-bonded.

Hi there, I'm new to these forums.

I also have a T1 1000, it belongs to my friend who is traveling the world. He keeps asking me if I wanted to buy. Until now I have managed to keep borrowing it :) However, this morning the handle bars snapped (I think I must have weakened them when I had a nasty crash in the Sheffield tram lines) so added to the new seat, brakes, peddles and tyres I have invested quite a bit. So I think it's time to buy it from my friend.

Any ideas what it is worth? It is well used but working well.

Cheers,

Chris.
