Mint original Trek 8900 XC Pro with Logic cranks and Grafton brakes.

I was under the impression that the original listing had Best Offer option based on comments above. With a bike with a lot of high-end components I would have gone straight in with a decent offer to try and secure rather than place a high bid early doors.

correct mate, me too. I narrowly missed the ‘best offer’ option as a small bid was placed by someone else. A strong early offer would’ve bought it 👍🏻

Ah the joys of an eBay auction! 😬 Most things are just Buy it Now these days.

I would've been tempted by one of the 8500 but it's miles away and i'm not sure I could trust a non-cyclist to pack and box a frameset up.

They got a good price in the end based on todays market.

Graftons and Bullseye/Mt Titan wheels are the main draw along with XC Pro components. And I guess the frame will tick some peoples boxes
too...

I was in at £750. Just missed out.

:( I never enter a rounded-off figure, always do a random figure like £751.86 for example, just incase someone else has a hidden bid for the same amount.

Plus you don't know what the maximum bid was on the winning amount, it might have been over £765.00. The winning bid was placed at 16:26 today. Good auction for the seller. We'll see if it appears on here...
