Mint condition 1990 Klein Atitude needs a home. (Must See!)

I'm assuming the seatpost is a 350mm.
Is that long enough to prevent the seat tube cracking?

Yes if not a tall rider. Max hight rider for that size is 5 feet 5'' i think

I'm 160cm tall (5,24ft) and I ride such a 18" klein frame. It fits very fine for me. A lot of klein owners ride too small frame and crack the seat tube.
350mm seattube is quite small for such a frame but what a pity to change the campy seatpost for something else…
;)

Awesome mate hope you keep that shop sticker on the Klein, You know i really thought it was a recent respray and done up to look original as it looked to good and seeing that original sticker on the bike amazes me even more at how good that Klein really is now mate

It's a stunning bike and in beautiful condition and I agree that the dealer sticker really adds to the feel of the bike. Gives it a real sense of time and place.

The question remains, when are you going to post a pic of it in a field covered in mud?

A solution is to keep the Campy seatpost for photos, display and light riding (with it lower). For more extreme riding, swap over for 400mm + seatpost.

I have Campag components for my Dolomite and plan to use a long Race Face post when necessary. It already has a 1mm crack.

Some forum members decided to offer more than the listed price AFTER the deal had been done even though i had posted in the thread saying so.

Thanks for the continued nice comments guys :D

A dilemma i have, i can't stand the bullet shifters and can get hold of some NOS all black Centaur thumbies, also have some NOS Grab On MTN2 grips, should i do it :?

I agree with clockworkgazz, keep it fully original as is if your not going to ride it otherwise thumb it.

Bullet are not the best shifters…
I would prefer the campy thumbshifter. but their collar is cheap and ugly. There's a system for fixing them directly on the brake lever. It's really more elegant…
