Middleburn Crank not fitting onto Bottom bracket

They are lovely cranks but not without issues re age related wear.

A ‘sleeper’ quality historical crank which is really light, forged and tough is the Sugino Fuse. Used those on bombproof lightweight builds in the past and available for peanuts.
Yeah, I'm getting that impression!

Thanks for the recommendation, I was mainly hoping to find a crank with a little bit of visual flare though! I really like the design of the middleburns, I really enjoy the cnc'ed shape of them. I find the traditional forged cranks a bit boring tbh.

I'd love some of those chunky L&M cranks, but I've never seen any come up for sale!

You could always take a couple mm off the end of the bb axle if it is only sliding up the taper a bit far, as opposed to wobbling off or not staying tight.
Is it correct to assume Middleburns are meant for use with Shimano taper geo? Obv there is a different std of taper for Campagnolo which if mounted on a shimano axle taper can/will crack the Campag crank. Is there any issue here?

These are modern era cranks ;-) everything is pretty much JIS bar the weird stuff.
So yes these are JIS.

@Edav97, if you have the money you should be able to pop to BETD website and have a look for some new ones.
Use the spider you have or get that as well.

Yes, buying new is becoming an option. But ideally trying to save a few quid!
