Yes. Great thing to do.Random ....does anybody go for nighView attachment 693230View attachment 693231ttime blasts and also do you think you cycle faster and harder ?
Or is it just me ...
for me its terrifying cycling at night, yeah you've got lights and brightly coloured clothes on(not hi vis) but there are still idiots on the roadYes. Great thing to do.
Also hiking.
The body uses an extra source of energy in the night. And unlike daytime, not that windy on many occasions.
My GF really loves night rides, and me too.
No cars, people, and other annoying stuff.
Many times i was doing that with lights off, when i was on routes that were familiar.
Also i like full moon walks on high ridges with no lights.
@Imlach is a regular night rider. Maybe done more miles at night than daytime
Works good too if you are bald shaved and wearing a jogging...If youre under 30 and wearing a hoodie, you may be stopped by plod, being seen as a potential drug courier.
After all, no 'normal' person would be riding at that time
Why so freaked by my post dudeThis thread or more particularly @Shaggy1979 pictures has freaked me out.
I was at Napier from 95 till 2000 living around Morningside and Gorgie but i flew Kites down Holyrood especially at night so YES just over 20 years ago i did ride through your picture. I do ride to the pub at night but the long nights of drifting around a townscape are long gone, I don't think you ride harder just time and distance becomes irrelevant especially if its crisp spring weather.
Because i never expected to see someone asking about some thing i did 20 years ago.Why so freaked by my post dude
