Middle of the night pedal bashing

I don't go near traffic/roads if I can help it day or night, cars and bikes don't mix and never should 😬

I ride off road at night, trailways, Castlemans, etc as much as I can, so long as I'm careful and tell my good lady were i'm going 😁

you serious? we have as much right as cars to be there.
And bikes were there before the car was invented

Are you Clarkson in disguise?
@pigman is correct.

We have as much right to be there as cars even if we are slower. If you are there, then the car will wait until there is a place to pass, until you move up to the pavement. Or it’ll just stay behind you.

But there are times when cars have tried to squeeze past me. The thing is is that the bike is kinda a blind spot. Pedestrians have the way on the path and cars normally have way on the road. In Hungary on the island of Horany it is very bike friendly. There are bike paths on both sides of the road.

Woah slow down lads let's not get our panties in a wad 😁

Rights have got nothing to do with it, in a perfect eutopian world we would all be respectful and get on with each other but we don't. So I avoid cars, that's my choice if your happy then good stuff.

And I'm not Clarkson in disguise, I'm a Retrobiker that's why I post on here 👍

should have qualified the statement with "my opinion only, but ..... " and no panties would be in wads. It read far stronger than that. And
when ones own troops arent fighting for their own side, its time to be concerned.

Anyway, think weve cleared that one,.... as you were

Not particularly. However, when I was working one of my shifts meant a 2am ride home for a week every month. Owls, deer, badgers, ravers, doggers and cottagers (was once offered a hand job by a cross dressing bloke, which I politely declined), thieves, loonies, and just occasionally other cyclists too.

They o ly come out at night, except here in Northamptonshire where they often come out in the daytime as well.
