Well just finished restoring an old Scott bike I bought. The SRAM grip shifters were shot on it so I replaced them with a pair of Microshift ones bought brand new off eBay for less than a tenner! These are them here. http://bit.ly/SkzO0q . Tell you what for the money they are cracking value! Just as well made as the SRAM they replaced and aren't flimsy in the slightest. They shift perfectly well and for the money you just cant beat them! If you need shifters on a budget, get microshift!

You can get Nos 7 or 8 speed Sachs waveys for the same price - much closer to retro.....

Can vouch that though they are unboxed they are Nossy or at least so minty I can't tell the difference.
