Need a 56 BCD Micro drive, not 58BCD Compact drive, granny ring, these are usually 20t but can be 22t. I bought two off Ebay stated as 56 and they are both 58 :x They were usually Suntour, but I think Action tec and a few others made them for a while.

The Pace ones use both types in the one ring. There's a handful on ebay at the moment.

Sorry but they don't, they are just reversible for varying chainline offset. Both sides are 58bcd I've checked and have some of those.

They did do a 56 / 58 ring, like the 20t pace ring I bought from ebay a few months ago. One side fits my XC Pro MD cranks a treat!

Re:

Yeah I know, but not all of them and not those on Ebay presently- sadly. These are the reversible ones, which have about 4mm of chain line offset, I spoke to the seller.

hmm... i have a microdrive crank that I pulled the rings off of and never thought to check the BCD. will have a look for you. PM if you don't hear back in 24 hours (which means I forgot).

Edit: Checked but it appears standard 58 BCD. marked sugino CSC 22T.

The difference is minimal, about 1mm in diameter across the holes, some of the boutique brands, did slotted holes to cover both options, the original MD was 40/30/20, but fast cog wear was an issue so they went to 42/32/22, I have actually bought two off the bay and when they turned up they were both 58, despite being sold as 56 :(
thanks for trying anyway.

Never had wear problems myself with the proper SunTour plated steel inner rings, similar to Sakae Ninja. I would imagine alloy wouldn't last long...
