That really is a very, very good looking bike and the price is jaw dropping :shock:

Just out of idle interest, do you know what year the frame is - perhaps 95 or 96 as it has the canti hanger at the rear?

Carl, you got a good buy there chap, I doubt you would find another Merlin in that sort of original condition.

It is just a shame that it is too big for you - Have you tried a few stretching exercises ?

Very very nice indeed Carl, tis a shame about the size though. Bet it weighs about 22lb judging by that build.

The Merlin website has a section to tell the age from the serial number, reckon about 95, but that's purely a guess based on no facts whatsoever
