Merlin un-boxing- close ups (stay calm,it's only a bike)

How did you find out about it? I swear there was another Merlin on this site that was found in a bike shop in the US too. I think I need to start calling around!

I found the bike on ebay and watched intently for a week.
On the last day one of the bidders withdrew and the price dropped so I got it for a great price.
I wasn't looking for retro mint I just wanted a Merlin and ended up with this one.
I intend to ride the bike on steady dry rides and keep it in as near pefect conditon as I can.
Not sure whether to rebuild the bike with new parts and keep the older stuff mint or ride as is.
Nice problem to have.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Wondering how much it weighs? This is beautiful. I have a old Fisher Promethius Titanium and can't imagine a better bike till seeing this.

The bike is a whisker over 22 pounds.
