Merlin Serial # Question

Dim question here.
Where can I find the serial number on my frame?

If its a US Ti Merlin the number should be on the dropout.

If its a Lancs Merlin, sorry got no idea, but under the BB shell or again on the dropout is a fair bet

Just out of interest what is it?

Only interested because you can tell the age of the frame from a list on the Merlin website

I looked on Merlins website to find out the ages of my Extra Fat and Oreas and nothing on there seemed to tally up to the numbers that were stamped on the bottom of the bb. :?
I emailed Steve Dunn at International sales for Merlin and he got back in touch with me telling the year and month that these frames were manufactured. Top bloke.

The number I found was 7241

Well that would be a 1992 model according to their list, does that seem about right.
Mine is a 1993 and was confirmed from checking its serial number on their website
