Merlin Fat Beat

I am looking for a Seat stay crown for a Merlin fat beat, with the YBB I have checked with all the vendors that have purchased Merlin over the last several years with no luck If there is anyone in the world that can help me out that would be Really sweet. not that i think i can help with a Merlin issue but i would suggest a little more detail and maybe some pics of what you need.

a seat stay crown suggest a soft tail frame? i tend to know about british stuff but not so much the american exotica, that said there are alot of merlin owners here.

That is correct. and it looks like there was an updated part. the one I have is the one with the cutouts on the seat stay. It looks like there is a solid version, updated part? due to cracking?. thanks for the photos...

There was also a different one that appeared on the last of the Echo soft tails that differed from the Moots one. Was much prettier too IMO. Not sure if these appeared on later Fat Beats as well.

It was welded to the seat stays though.

good luck, I know of two people who have/had Merlin soft tails, and Merlin ended up taking the frames back and cutting off the old rear end and making it a hardtail. just cause the parts don't exist anymore.

I suspect finding a machine shop to make you one is the way forward.

Yeah already got the quote. I'm hoping for the best case, and that is to find a dealer that may have one laying around. there has to be at least one on this planet !
