I think this is a great deal, a hard to find early/mid 90s Extralight in nice condition, with plenty of Campag Record componentry. I know there's an issue with the rims, but regardless of that, if it were my size it'd already be on its way to me.

Yeah that’s a really good deal, Extralight frames alone often sell for more. They ride superbly too.

I had the same thought. Ebay global shipping is crazy. I'm in the US and shipping is 87GBP, same price I'd pay to ship a bike one state over pretty much.

Having said that this bike is a bargain, and if its costing £87 to get it shipped back across the pond then so be it.

Shipping internationally is crazy expensive. But for ebay to ship the bike for 87gbp from UK to LA ... that is what I would pay from LA to Las Vegas or something. Point being ebay international shipping program is crazy cheap considering.

Someone snagged that Merlin, one of yas?

its a really nice bike and really light and i dont even do road stuff but it is super nice - we ve just noticed a slight problem tho and that the left crank arm is infact a shimano so the last owner must have had a booboo with his original campag record left arm

its back in the workshop and weve found a similar era matching campag' crankset to finish it off properly and will be back up for sale again in the next few days : )
