I saw this "Cielo" for sale on e-bay, however from the lug design and rear stay it clearly looks like a Lunaris. I do remember there was a version of the Cielo with engraved lugs similar to this, but I think the rear stay was completely made of titanium, like the 'normal' version. I messaged the seller and they told me they are the first owner and had the bike built in 2005 and it was sold as a Cielo.
Maybe there is someone who has some insight into the Merlin history around this time? Was the Lunaris designed frame initially sold as a later version of a Cielo and then rebranded later? Any insight would be great.
