I wish, unfortunately the Panasonic, extra corsa, c record build is still consigned to the wish list.

Lovely clean pedals, did you get cleats with them? Lots of nice shoes out there, always wanted a pair of sidi revolution myself.

Yeah, they came with black cleats. Not sure how I will get on with zero float but I'll give it a go. :?

You could always get some red floating ones Barry, thats what I always go for, just to avoid potential knee problems.
They would also match the pedals too, which is far more important !

I wholly agree, that Team SC is nice Mike.
That was the same year I bought my Corsa Extra and you could get the Flyer, either sloping or standard in the same, if not similar colours. He has taste as well as a good eye, like the lovely blue bar tape and Hutchinson tyres

Ok, so Uwe Brell lives pretty near me in Sossenheim. He's an active RTF rider (bit like Audax) in his 70's, winning all his age group competitions. Sounds like a bit of a legend by all accounts.

Nice to get some confirmation he rides now. I wonder what his pro career was like?

I've not got a great deal of tinkering time at the moment but I'm grabbing 15 minutes here and there when I can. The frame has been cleaned and polished and I'm slowly putting it all back together.
A few more new parts have been arriving in the meantime.

As well as the green tyres matched the frame unfortunately there is a bit of cracking on the rear and also I'm not sure I would get on that well with 19mm tyres! So a pair of 25mm Veloflex Masters will be going on with new latex tubes inside them.

The next thing to change is the seatpost.
The bike came with a Campag post (Daytona I think) but really needs an aero post to complete the look. So one was bought from a seller on here.

It's in decent enough condition but has a few marks and needs a wee polish.
So the polishing has started.

Looking better already.
