Is that where they have to race down a steep cobbled hill in thick sleet after drinking "a couple" of pints with a plastic bag containing 4 bottles hanging from the bars?
I thought mudguards were seen as cheating, unless you had a therapeutic exemption, like you aren't from Yorkshire or something.

I gave in and bought this, despite absolutely not being in the market for another frameset. But I've always wanted a Mercian, and I do fancy entering the Olympics someday... 
Some friends of mine did run in the Wenlock Olympian Games road race a few years back (AKA the PROPER Olympics), but sadly I don't think they have any cycling events

You may be waiting a while, I'm afraid! The current plan is to look at it lovingly for a few years. But it will happen some time.

That's usually my plan too. Maybe stroke the top tube gently from time to time, carefully lift it to check it's as light as I hoped...
