I couldn't help it. When was I gonna get a Mercian framed bike for the money? And it has some 600 Arabesque - which is fab too. I love 600.

The plan? Oh, I shall probably stroke the top tube gently, flick it with my fingernail to hear that 531 "ding", carefully caress the saddle, subtly heft the bike to check it's as light as I think it should be, gently push forward and apply the front brake to check stopping power, spin a pedal, turn the front wheel to make sure there's no wobble and back pedal to make sure it's free running. You know - all the usual things you do when carefully assessing a potential purchase. Except the purchase is a foregone conclusion at this stage...Nice bike, whats the plan? I love 600 too
Ahh! You mean after I've bought it? Don't have one. Just want to get in the workshop for sighing and admiration!

I followed his build thread, hes done a couple of very nice bikes.
